OMG

 Had my pre op testings last Tuesday and today I had my H and P with my primary doctor. Well, just got a call at 5:49 from my primary doctor saying she wants me to see a cardiologist because there was an abnormal reading on the EKG. Ok, so I me , the EKG tech and the nurse looked at the EKG and it was normal. I am so freakin out right now. 

if the nurse and ekg tech thought it looked normal then the abnormality must be very slight. everything will be ok. its better to find this out now than post op or even during surgery. everything will be ok. this is sort of like a precaution. let us know what the cardiologist says. 

 Will for sure let you know. Never been to one before so this should be interesting trying to get an appointment some time this week!!

I had to see a cardiologist as well before being cleared and was basicly told it was a normal abnormality. It will be ok. They just have to make sure.

Ok I hope so!! I am going to call first thing in the morning to see if I can get an appointment some time this week.

It can be something as simple as not getting the leads in the correct spot. Has happened to my about 3 times before different surgeries and each time it was just from the lead not being in the right place. So don't worry, the cardiologist will probably just ok it and send you on your way!
