2-Week Post-Op

I just had my 13 day post-op appointment, 20 pounds down from 11/14! As I was sitting in  the waiting room my husband leaned over and said "look how you are sitting". I looked down and my legs were crossed, I haven't crossed my legs in 10 years! A NSV I wasn't even aware! Love my SLEEVE!

Awesome! Keep up the good work. I gather from your name that you are a nurse, when are you going back to work?

I go back to work on 12/19. I am a manager of a Women's Clinic, Lactation and Interpretive Services. I don't do patient care, but my departments are spread over a large multi-hospital campus. Just alot of walking. If I did patient care I would have a 10 pound lifting restriction until 6 weeks after surgery, per my physician.

That's great.. I had my surgery on the same day as you.. I've only lost 15lbs and seem to be stuck there for days, makes me wish I had of kept on the clear fluids longer instead of jumping ahead like the nutritionist said I could.

Crossing legs. Haven't done that in years myself. That's a good goal.
