Leaving for Hawaii in the morning!!
I am so excited! Hubby and I are heading to Hawaii (Maui and the Big Island) in the morning! Wahoo!!!
This will be my first vacation since surgery 6 months ago. I have traveled a lot for work since surgery, so this R&R will be nice. We travel a lot but this is our first time to Hawaii.
For those that have been there before, any good Hawaii recommendations??

Mostly on Ohau. But on Maui go to haleakala it is a crator from a old volcano it is up really high. Awesome to see. Crooked road to hana also. A luau is fun but kind of pricey. food is okay. It is serve yourself so you would be able to get plenty of protien...
HAve FUN!!! Relax and enjoy every minute..

I am so jealous, I just got back from Maui over Thanksgiving and it is absolutely the most stunning place I have ever visited. If you are looking for things to do, Maui is full of great things.
1.) Go ziplining! ( Use Flying Hawaiin Zipline, they have the longest lines)
2.) Go watch the sunrise on top of Haleakala and then you can also bike down ( we used the company Maui Downhill)
3.) Mama's Fish house is a must for dinner but make sure to have reservations.
4.) Go to Lahaina and walk Front Street (tons of shopping in a quaint little surfer town
5.) Road to Hana is a must but please don't drive it yourself it is very dangerous. We used Mahalo Tours (ask for Cousin J as your driver)
6.) Do the Old Lahaina Luau (it's the most traditional and not as "flashy" as the others that are more production like.
6.) Enjoy yourself and relax you deserve it!
Have a great time and take lots of pictures!
