24 hours until the big day!!

I am full of so many mixed feelings... excited  , nervous , scared , anxious ... I have been doing so much research over the past two years and have tried so many diets to ensure that I am confident with the choice I am making to have Bariatric Surgery. I have been to 6 different seminars and 6 different doctors and I must say I LOVE the choice in doctor that I made, Dr. Awad was the only doctor who stuck around after the seminar to meet with potential patients, I purposely waited patiently to meet with him last so I would not feel rushed with time. He spoke with me for about ten minutes and I went ahead and made my consultation appointment. That next week I was waiting in the waiting room of his office for my 9am appointment. When Dr. Awad walked in through the front door he greeted me by my first name. I could not believe that he had remembered my name. I felt so comfortable after that. He spent 45 minutes with me explaining the Gastric Sleeve and had the most amazing bedside manners. I of course did all my research on him prior to my appointment and found nothing but positive feedback. His wonderful staff pushed my Insurance through in 4 days!! So here I now set trying to relax and get things in order for my kids the day before my surgery. I truly feel blessed for everything in my life with or without this surgery, but I defiantly thank God for putting Dr. Awad in my life!

So wish me luck I will keep everyone posted on my journey and I really appreciate each and everyone of you that are actively involved with this site. You guys are the perfect picture support system. XOXO

 Hmmmm...new birthday...you think they can make a candle float in our water? Maybe hook it up somehow so when we blow through the spirometer, it blows the candle out, then we can have the water? I'm going to look into that.  (i deflect nerves with pathetic humor attempts).
