Slimming Spa Treatments

I'm going on a cruise in a couple of days and I was wondering if anyone out there has had the detoxing/slimming spa treatment that claims to take the inches away on Carnival Cruise Lines?  Is it worth the $?  I know most of those inches will be water--just curious.  I love the idea.

Thanks,

Viola

I have not but we went on a family cruise and my Aunt got one - she loved it so much that she got another before the end of the cruise. It sounds like a fun thing to do on a cruise! Have fun!

Thank you!  We leave the day after Christmas!  I'm not sure which is more exciting the cruise or the presents from Santa.

I haven't a clue, but even if they don't 'work', you are worth the investment for the treatment for the success you've had with your VSG. Enjoy the pampering and have fun on the cruise. *sigh.....someday maybe I'll get to go on one.*

I live in Florida, so it is super inexpensive to go and easy to get to like 4 different ports.  The closest 30 minutes away and the furthest 3 hours.  Its less expensive then going to the theme parks!

I don't think they work for the long term but ANY SPA TREATMENT is a GREAT treatment! I have had a "Detox Wrap" at the Canyon Ranch in Tucson and they are super relaxing. You are wrapped in special tea soaked warm towels for about 20 minutes. It's warm and cocoon like...very relaxing.
I've also had Accupuncture which is great for things like digestion and relaxation.

Mostly....have fun and enjoy the trip.

Ooh, that sounds nice!  I've never had Acupuncture--I'm not sure how I would feel about needles poking into me--I"m squeamish that way, lol.

I haven't tried it, but I suspect the only thing it slims down is your wallet! Hope you have a great time on your cruise! Which ship are you going on? We'd like to try the Dream one of these days.

We are going on the Destiny and the one in Feb. is Ecstasy.  I've heard of the Dream--supposed to be super nice.  I am still on the fence whether or not to do the spa treatment.  I don't know if I want to spend the money--I rather buy clothes I think, lol.

I think I'd rather spend it on clothes too!  The only spa thing we've ever done was on Holland.  We spent the extra money to use the Hydro therapy pool and heated loungers...very nice!

Have a great trip!  Merry Christmas!
