 Good Morning Everyone,

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.   I had a really good one.   Spent the day at Teen Challenge with my son and all his fellow roommates there.   It was kinda sad when some of the guys came up to me and hugged me crying cause they were missing their families.    I seem to have taken  on the role of Mom to all the 36 men that are there.   I came in with 2 huge boxes of junk food for them all.    Today I am grateful the opportunity to have had the opportunity to be with all these guys on Christmas and hopefully brighten those guys and my sons day.   Grateful for all the amazing changes that are taking place in my middle son's life.    Grateful that he is drug free and on the right track finally and the other guys at Teen Challenge too.   Grateful for my WLS after a lifetime of being morbidly obese and for mantance for 6 yrs not having that much of a regain.   Life is good and I am so Grateful for my family, friends, Faith and answered prayers that come my way daily.    Grateful for all the wonderful people here on Obesity Help and SO very grateful for OH.    Grateful for support groups that keep me and so many others on track.     PLEASE share with us if you will what you too are grateful for today.   Have a blessed day and please be safe if you are out and about today.

Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

That is such a wonderful thing that you did for all those young men... I bet you made made their Christmas, you will never be forgotten by any of them!.... Now for what I am thankful for.....where to start?? I am thankful that God has been with me of this journey of life. I am thankful for my wonderful children and the ability to take care of them by myself. I am also thankful each and everyone on this site who has inspired me to change my habits so I can be here for my children.

Awe.....Thank you so much for your kind words.    God bless you as you travel on your WLS journey.   Hang in there and come here and ask questions if you need instant answers BUT if it is a medical issue....do as your doc suggests.    Good luck to you and congrats on your WLS.

 Good morning!

What a beautiful picture of God's grace taking care of you and your son.   Helping you overcome addictions that were destroying your lives.   What a wonderful way to spend Christmas - being momma to a lot of hurting young men.    You do have much to be thankful for!!  Bless you!

Thank you so very much for your kind words.     I absolutely loved spending my Christmas Day with these precious young men.    Today there were a crew of them tearing down a motel and my son called me.    I just took them 5 pizzas for lunch.    It never hurts to be kind to others and to be so grateful for all the blessings that have come into my life.   Thank you again for being so sweet.   Have a blessed day.

Grateful for my wonderful daughter and son in law who just bought a house on the 7th, got moved in on the 16th and hosted Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinners for 12. Remarkable feat! Hope everyone had as joyful a Christmas as I and my family!
