Hi Everyone,
I have just been reading some post, I need to read the post more often, keeps me more in touch with what we all are going throw, together.

Man, I had to much sugar over Christmas, my body feels really crappy, slow all over. I need to get back on the horse and ride to my goal and life change.. I need your thoughts and prayers. There are a lot of good things that happen this past weekend. I had a wonderful Christmas, will tell you more and hopefully have pic's. My girls are so proud of me. I think God that he made a way for me to have WLS, I have to do some praying for the Lord to help me make a life change. It is not all about losing weight for me, it is being more healthy, which I am.

God Bless
Evie

I'm sure you had a lot less sugar than you did over the 2010 holidays!  Every day is better.

Yeah sugar is bad stuff, can't handle it at all. A tiny bit on rare occasions but I cannot tolerate it.

And it really does make us feel awful. Detox and shake it off !

Sugar has a similar behavior to alcohol in our bodies. It's absolutely addictive. So it takes a couple days to get off it and feel better.

sugar actually has exactly hte same effect in our bodies as cocaine and the withdrawal symptoms are the same.

it really is evil stuff though some don't want to admit it.

Thank you for helping me out. I guess it will take a day or so to feel better. To me the sugar kick was not worth it. I need to make myself exercise, I think that will help me a lot also. Keep working that sleeve, you have really hung in there.

God Bless

I will keep you in my prayers.  I found a great book.  "Made to Crave" by Lysa Terkeurst.  She also has an accompanying devotional you can purchase for kindle or at Amazon.com.  This has really helped me get my head in the game.  Bless you!

Hi
Thank you so very much for the information on the book, I will look it up. My opinion , after 9 months out from surgery, 74.5 lbs lose, better health, I think you are a very smart and brave lady to have WLS. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I love my sleeve, it is a tool and we have to work it.  My prayers are with you. Keep us updated.
God Bless
