Iron and Calcium
I have just now gotten a pattern down for taking my iron.
It is a big ole pain in the rear to work it around my calcium intake.
My doctor's office, and from what I have researched on-line, say to wait two hours.
Don't forget that this means any calcium supplement that you take, but also anything with calcium in it... like your multi, and milk, cheese, or yogurt.

Quick note, watch your blood work when taking iron. I was recommended it on my post op plan and started taking sundown once a day iron. This was for six weeks n when I got my labs back my iron levels were way too high. My doc said it was not needed n that those levels could interact with meds I was taking as well as critical internal functions. Just doublecheck your labs.
