One day post op

Had surgery at one pm on 12/29. Was released from the hospital at 2:00 pm today. I am sore and having difficulty with fluids but I am sipping and walking short distances regularly.

I am very worried about the pain and my inability to drink.....I know from reading the posts that it will get better but tonight it's feeling pretty tough

One thing that really makes me stop in wonder is all of the kind things people have done for me. My neighbor went way way above and beyond -shie really helped me and I just can't say enough about her kindness

Others have been reaching out all day -hope I recover soon and can "pay ot forward"

I was sleeved on the 19th and I understand where your coming from. I was pretty out of it until the 4th day, I mostly slept.. When I got up, I would take my pain meds, drink some water, maybe some broth and go back to sleep. Believe me it will get better, give it a few more day.
Im really gald you have wonderful peopple in your life to help you out. It is amazing how much it helps. Look forward to following your journey. Hang in there.
