Ok so 2 weeks ago I was told to stop my birth control pills because it was 2 weeks before surgery. At that time I got my period. I had my surgery 12/28 and I just got my period again. Is this normal? Please give me some help!!

Totally normal.  Your hormones are in a state of flux right now from stopping the pill and having surgery.  It may take a few months to straighten out.  Do you have PCOS?

Yup very normal.. I was inquiring to my nurse at my last appt that I've  yet to get mine and I'm a month late.. she said oh please dont tell me your pregnant! No chance there.. I have fertility issues unrelated to weight issues but anyway she told me then that most patients complain it comes early.

why did you have to stop BCPs before surgery? I have been on continuous BCP for a year b/c of migraines. Also have PCOS. Havent had a period in a year BUT b/c of hormone fluctuations I did manage to get a period for about 2 weeks even while on continuous BCPs. The hormone fluctuations are a pain.

Oh ok I see what you mean. No I don't have pcos.I wondered why they wanted me to stop the NC too. I just found out it was a risk of blood clots so I stopped.
