STILL TRYING TO GET HELP
Hi All.
I had written last week asking if anyone had loose skin removed before 18 months. I finally went to my family Dr. and had a good check up. I normally keep a UTI or female infection, everything showed A ok. had blood work done also. My family Dr. said it was the loose skin that was causing my pain and also she thinks it is pushing against my bladder. My next step is to go see my surgeon and my urologists, this coming up Tues. I really don't want to have a tummy tuck or butt skin removed until I reach goal if I can help it, That is around 25 lbs more to lose.
A funny thing did happen at the Dr's office. I passed my Dr in the hallway and she did not give me the big hello and smile like she always does and I just thought she was just busy and in a rush. When she walked into my room she told me she did not recognize me. It had only been 2 months since I had seen her. Then I was telling her it looked like I had 2 butts on each side of my hips and she told me to walk so she could see, for I even thought I said hey I don't even let my husband see my butt. The Dr. said I have seen worse and I said gee thanks, we both laughed. My pain and rash has gotten better on my butt, used the power someone on here told me to use with corn starch, it really hurt to walk, I know all this sounds gross, just did not know to look for these problems this soon.
Would like to hear from someone that has these problems early after surgery and what to do.
Thank you all very much.
God Bless

Im sorry you are in pain from the extra skin. I am only 4 months out and have had some rash issues. They are very painful. Lucky for me my tummy does not hang too much anymore so my rash has gone away. I also wear a panty girdle and that helps my skin to not rub. The problem I am having now is my belly button is collapsing, causing a rash on the inside. It is quite painful, I usually put neosporin inside with a rolled up tissue.
