30 days post-op update and 1st noticeable NSV!!

 It's been 30 days since my sleeve.  Down about 37 pounds.  First day at work, trying not to miss my mid-morning nap! :)  It's been quite a journey:
- Flew to Florida for 2 weeks over the holidays with my family - none of whom approve of my decision... went well and interesting.
- My belly button was infected following surgery is now healed and closing appropriately

First NSV:
- Today is my first day back at work, and in typical routine, I grabbed a pair of dress pants and shirt for work.  Pants are baggy in my backside and the top won't fit on my shoulders...Had to find something to fit under a jacket to not look wierd.
- Weirdest part, my shoes feel like I can step out of them!  Had to put on thicker socks to keep my shoes on!  How weird and fun is that???!!!
- People who do not know at work keep telling me I must have had a nice holiday vacation because my face looks so rested.  Those that do know, can't believe how much thinner my face is!!  (tee-hee!!!)

My dr asked me if I was glad that I had opted for this surgery and I told him so far "yes."  I was just really scared over the infection and now that it is under control, it's starting to look good.

I'm 30 days tomorrow and I am down 30lbs. I keep getting asked if I've done something different with my hair! LOL I always want to say "yes, I had it lenghtened over christmas. What? you've never heard of that? Oh they just do 5 simple incisions on your belly and cut out 80% of your stomach and presto...your hair gets longer." LOL

I don't think my surgery is anyone else's business so I haven't said that...yet.

 Now that's funny!  Yes, it's the hair!!! Bwa-hahahahaha!!!  I agree, it's my business and I'm having fun!
Congrats on the 30lbs!!!!!

Glad everything is going well now...when you talk of your belly button I just remembered that I want a belly button piercing after I reach goal and have a tummy tuck.  That was in 2007 when I first got my lap band.  I can't believe at 38 almost 39 years old, I still want one. REALLY! How I must already think I am going to feel 10 years younger after I get sleeved. Wow just rambling.  Sorry.

How funny!  After what my belly button just went through, no piercing for me!  I'll leave that to you and my ears!  

Yay you!!!!  the nsv/shrinking is the best!!!!!!   my feet are shrinking too which rocks!!!
