Day 12 Post OP liquids found something goood last night
I have been desparate for anything good to slurp down! Last night I decided to tone down my Taco Soup Recipe and try the broth off of it....it was great!
1 lb lean beef cooked with dried onion, drained and rinsed well
2 cans pinto beans (only drained 1 can)
2 cans petite diced tomatoes with sweet onion
1 can corn (not drained)
1/2 big can tomato juice
3-4 cups water
1 pkg taco season
1 pkg hidden valley ranch
*Simmer all in big pan and drain off broth and eat....., my family enjoyed the solid part. It didn't upset my stomach at all! And I have had difficulty with some chicken broths that have too much grease.

Thank you for this recipe. I made this tonight. The only change I made was I took 1 can of the Pinto out and used black beans (we like those). The broth was delicious. Its about the only thing I've been able to get down besides powerade zero. Chicken broth is not sitting so well, neither is any protein shakes. Thank you!
