Warrior Dash
Well I did it. I signed up for the Warrior Dash in Richmond, Va this Sep. My husband will be deployed by then and I thought it would be nice to have something to look forward to. I'll be almost 6 months post op so should have lost a considerable amount of weight, and training for this will help me keep that weight loss up! So has anyone else done one of these? Any tips? Anyone want to join me?

It looks like nothing in TX this year. You can write to them and let them know you want one in the area for 2013.

That's fantastic. I think my husband is going to the one in MD in May along with a few other people from his work. So at least I'll get to see some one else go through it first. Mine will be 4 days before my 6 month surgiversary so I think it will be an awesome way to celebrate! I'm still really sorried about the rope wall though.

That's so great that so many people are doing it. I'm really truly excited about it. Much more so than the Army 10 Miler I'm doing in Oct. Which is going to suck. This looks like both fun and hard work. I'm going to be very proud of myself when I fini****
