smoothie recipe using black cherry juice high protein and helps with uric acid levels

 So I tried the Isopure Cherry Pommegranite smoothie this morning and it was fantastic!  What a welcome relief from the terrible chocolate shakes!  But it was PRICEY and I cannot afford $4 a pop.  So I whipped this up tonight and it is not exact and not quite as good, but still very good compared to the regular shake.  The added bonus is that it contains the black cherry juice concentrate that will apparently help to lower the uric acid level.  I think it could be more tart so next time a bit more cherry to help cut the protein taste, but overall very nice :)

2 tablespoons black cherry concentrate
8 ounces water
1 scoop unflavored whey protein (vanilla would work well too I think)
2 tablespoons sugar free vanilla torani syrup
2 ounces chobani fat free plain yogurt (flavored stuff would probably work too)
Ice cubes

Blend and enjoy.  Wish I could knock the carbs down a bit... wonder if they make a "light" version of the concentrate??
