I do track everything.  By the end of the day I will be under 600 calories, under 20 carbs, and 13 grams of fat.  Tomorrow I will cut them in half though.  What you say about our "old normal" is what I am concerned about.  Just not sure if having a day that is entirely on track, but includes the 4 ounce meal, is Ok?
Your daily total is fine, I'd just be careful with the serving sizes.  It's hard to imagine, but in a few months, you will have a "new normal" and not think much about it.  Be extra careful once you get to the really dense proteins.  A very small amount will fill you up.  If you overdo then, it hurts!  It's a very uncomfortable feeling that seems to last hours.  I've done it a couple of times.  Usually when I'm rushed to get somewhere and I don't want to go too long without eating.  Small bites and put the fork down between bites.  That's the secret!

It's good that you recognized that something was worth asking about!

The sleeve is a wonderful thing.  It is so much easier to get back on track when overdoing it.  We all have our off days, it's how we deal with them that makes the difference.

Being early out, you may not be able to feel everything yet.  Nerves can get cut or tweaked or numbed during surgery and it can take time for the feeling to come back.  So just because 4 oz went ok, doesn't mean your stomach wasn't bulging at the seams, literally.

I had a nerve to my skin around my belly button get tweaked when my doc made one of my incisions.  It took months for me to get the feeling back.

Just go slow and take the good advice of the others here.

Was the 4oz measured before or after it was cooked?  If before, when it's cooked it will cook down so it was probably more like 3oz.

Burgers are very hard for me to digest. (When I've tried them they have been out of the leanest beef I can find & I rinse the grease off the burger.  Grease & my tummy don't get along even pre-sleeve) I can't eat 4oz of one if I wanted to.  I have not tried turkey burgers yet because my hubby hates turkey & he's the one that cooks
