18 days post op
Had four incisions. Three are closed, healed and no pain. The deeper incision on my left side had a very deep scab that partially fell out in the shower today. It left an open wound that looks a bit deep. It is sore and I cleaned it out and am paying careful attention tempt.
I mention this b/c this has been the only issue since my surgery 18 days ago. I am experiencing some of the other inconveniences others talk about -fatigue, bowel distress - but nothing compares to how I feel with over 35lbs lost.
I am walking better and most importantly i want to walk more!
This is a marathon and it takes courage and perseverance - but a healthier life is possible and before the sleeve I didn't believe a better life style was possible!
