3 1/2 months out and 72 pounds down.

for some reason anything beyond 70 to me sounds like a lot.  at 50 lbs down i was like "eh".  and 60, i was "hmm". and now at 70 + i am "really?!".  i still can't tell in the mirror but can in pictures.  still have a long way to go, but very close to making it to onederland.  probably within the next 3 weeks or so.  i'm 208 as of this morning and started my pre op diet at 280.   i realized while driving this morning that there is a lot of room now between me and the steering wheel!  didn't realize how big my car actually was since i always felt stuffed like a sausage in a seat belt.

i sometimes feel like i ignore the weight loss for awhile then when i realize where i am i become so amazed.  this is one of those times.

Wow ..that is amazing...72 lbs in 3 months!  Congratulations!! You must be so excited by all the weight you've lost already.

Do you use protein drinks as you go through your day or are you eating all 'normal' solid food?

Thank you to all... i still have 1 protein shake daily (chocolate unjury with skim or 1& milk, powdered PB2, and a 1/2 banana mixed in).  the rest is all solid foods.  usually breakfast is scrambled eggs and/or turkey sausage (about 1.5 oz.), lunch/dinner is chicken, cheese, and 4 crackers.  i'm pretty boring but hey, it works.

Way to go Jess!!  I'm so excited about onederland too!  We had surgery close together!  I'm 203 and probably won't believe it when I'm in the 100's.  It already feels like a dream.  We're living the sleeve dream, huh!  Wishing you the very very best!  So happy for you!
