Opinion needed- unable to exercise after upcoming surgery- should I drop my calories down
So this Friday I have some more melanoma being removed (skin cancer). I am not suppossed to be walking around, getting up and down out of a chair, etc. because of the sutures being at risk of opening back up. One site is the back of the thigh and the other on my back.
Anyway, I have been pleased with my weight loss so far. 21 pounds month one and three days into month two a couple more pounds off. I feel convinced that a big part of this is exercising, and I am totally bummed out that during the honeymoon period I cannot maximize this two week period.
So, my question is- should I try to drop from my normal 600 calorie day down to 300-400 in order to try and compensate for the lack of exericise?

Absolutely not! You need good quality nutrition to heal, including good protein. Healing burns calories. Besides, you can pick up where you left off when you are completely healed. Best wishes :-)
