Recent Hysteria Do I Worry?

Do people know you on Facebook as VickyBT? If they don't, then the only way they will know it is you is if they know you in person. If they know you in person, they don't need pictures.

Less than you think.  You have posted photos,  you have spoken of your job which is particular, you have a geographical marker but thankfully since you don't have a fb page someone would have to be seeking you out or decide to illustrate a point by something in a post by pulling you onto their fb but that being said i am a Luddite so this is what I gleaned however inaccurately from today.

You get points for using the term "Luddite."  I thought I was the only person that used that word and even applied it personally.

 Personally, I think this whole thing is being blown way out of proportion!  You are on a public forum which Google can access (or any other search engine).  Whatever you post on the internet, no matter WHERE you post it, is up for grabs, folks!  I don't think there are hoards of people out there just waiting to latch on to your personal information or pictures.  They probably are too busy with their own lives to even care what you are doing with yours.  

That being said, I'm hoping folks aren't losing sight of the real reason we're all here -- support, either giving or receiving it!  I personally don't care if anyone on FB or Google or anywhere else sees my stuff.  I wouldn't be on line sharing if I didn't want to share!  

Just my humble opinion.
