came home from work yesterday and started with ridiculous diarrhea from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.  started feeling shaky and dizzy and was assuming was getting dehydrated.  my husband came home and said, lets go to er.  on way there i vomited out his car window.  (such a  proud moment). it all stopped by midnight.

my white count was slightly elevated so i emailed my surgeon this morning to let him know.  he called back in a minute and said he wants me to get tests done for my gallbladder.  he said its either a virus, food poisioning, or gall bladder.

anyone have anything like this happen?

I HAVEN'T HAD MY VSG YET BUT I HAVE HAD THE VIRUS, FOOD POISIONING, AND MY GALLBLADDER REMOVED. THE ONLY TIME MY WHITE BLOOD COUNT WAS ELEVATED WAS WITH THE GALLBLADDER. I HOPE THIS IS HELPFULL.

Mine was elevated with my gallbladder too. Haven't been sleeved yet but gb pain feels like a bad case of food poisoning! Get checked asap! Hope you feel better soon.

Aw, I hope you feel better soon!  Gall bladder problems are a big fear of mine.

Are you taking the gall bladder medicine (ursodiol)?

not taking gall bladder meds but may ask my dr. about them after my u/s.

felt really dizzy this morning but assuming that is because i didn't really eat yesterday at all.

i just want a good month of feeling good and not worrying that something is going to happen.
