Congratulations!!! I get mine on February 27th!  I'm getting excited and slightly anxious at the same time.  I come and read as much as I can on here and sometimes I google what to expect.  There are some youtube video blogs but some of them can be really negative so I'm staying away from that.  I suspect that some post-op friends will post some good advice too!

Congrats on getting sleeved soon.  Mine is happening on the 7th!

Be sure to include your surgery date in your profile.  The admin team on this site monitors that and I just received an extremeley informative email with several links to other posts; advising of things to think about.  I thought that service was great & free!

I am excited to take this big step and so thankful it's available!

My only advice is to read this site and gather as much info as possible.  People's individual experiences that they share here are so valuable.  That was easily the most helpful thing for me.  It's a wild ride and I love my sleeve!

Congrats on your upcoming surgery. It's the start of a new and much better life! Read all that you can but understand that we each have our own unique experience. I just posted this the other day about staying positive thru your journey. Good luck!

Congrats on your upcoming surgery!  I agree with others - read posts here and gather any info you can.  Each of our journeys is a little different, but it was good to at least have an idea of what to expect and to feel I was going into this process with my eyes wide open.  Good luck!
