Question about fainting?
I have a question, I am 4 1/2 months out. Today was the first time in my entire life that I have ever fainted. I really don't remember it , my kids said I stood up and said I feel dizzy, then I passed out and fell onto the sofa. It took my a few minutes to wake up, but I didn't remember anything that happened. Has anyone ever have this happen to them?
Thanks

im 1 month and 4 days out and i already fainted like 3 times till now and the main reason for the that is low blood pressure or low sugar i started taking apple juice 4 oz and some zero vitamin water cos it has soduim in there thats it since that time i stopped fainting good luck dear i know it is hard
I have been a fainter for as long as I can remember. I faint when I throw up. It has gotten worse since surgery. I have to be really careful not to eat too much. Also my blood pressure has gotten low so if I stand up too fast I get dizzy. Dr. told me to take L-Carnitine and it seems to have helped.

this concerns me. i have a 'fainting' phobia. never have fainted in my life and don't want to ever experience it either.
i wonder if it has something to do with your vagus nerve?
i suppose that depends on if you take blood pressure pills, even being a short time out of surgery seems to affect your BP pretty fast. i wonder if it has something to do with not having as much as a stomach. it's like people who get off their diabetes meds right after surgery. like your body changes metabolically.
will have to do some research on this. i hope you can fix your problem, i truly feel for you. it's scary to me!
