Looking at the weight you started with I'd say there is little to no chance of insurance covering the removal, unless you have documented severe infection issues.  They are really strict in the skin being an impediment to daily living.

Sorry for the loss of your nephew.

Haven't seen you on here in a while...welcome back!

Sorry can't help with the insurance issue.

Hi there my friend! Usually the only way insurance usually covers panni removal (which is just the extra skin, no tightening of the muscles)is if you are having problems with rashes or the fat hangs so far down it makes walking difficult. If you have had reash problems have your doctor document them with something saying the excess skin is causing the problem. Good luck!
So sorry about your nephew, it has been a rough year or so for you!

I am so sorry about your nephew.  You have had a rough last year.  Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Hey there,  I remember all the trouble you were having because of the excess skin.   I would start by documenting the pain you have been having due to the excess skin and how that hinders your day and work.  I would mention the skin rashes and even make a point of taking pics of them when they happen.  ALWAYS call the Dr when you have a rash so they can document it.  I think your situation was unique and I think the key is going to be document, document, document!   Good luck!
