I finally did it!!!!!!!!!! I reached my goal!!!!!
Congratulations! I'm sure you feel just wonderful. My goal was also 150, which I picked out of the air, mostly because I needed a goal for my little weight tracker widget on here. But like a previous poster said, my body had its own idea, and I ended up at 133, more or less, or a BMI of 21-ish. I seem to be able to maintain this weight without too much difficulty.
So I would say, when you're ready to stop losing (which may or may not be now), increase your daily calories by 100-200 at a time (not adding empty calories like sugar and flour, but nutritious calories like additional protein and healthy fats), say every couple weeks, until you stop losing. Then you can decide if that calorie level is acceptable to you from a lifestyle perspective. In the meantime you'll continue to lose a little bit of weight, which will also give you a cushion against any possible bounceback.
Congratulations again!
