Girl Trouble & Emotional Eating

the therapist we were required to go to told us that our partners would either gain weight after our surgery or lose weight and get healthy with us...

that whn one partner loses weight is can cause huge huge tensions and cause divorce or break ups....

does she have any interest in weight loss surgery? 

my gf is nervous I will get skinny and leave her for someone else. 

I hope it's just a communication break down that can be easily resolved....I understand very very much what you are going through...i am in fact just coming off not speaking to my gf (who i own a home with) for 2 days and me wanting to freak out by stuffing my face while i am on my liquid fast.

I have preached WLS to her, since the start of my journey. I hoped maybe we could do it together. When I was on my liquid diet she started her own diet and it was incredible how fast this girl can drop the lbs. She was doing quite well. She was supportive and was there every hospital day (and night). Her overeatting picked up right after my surgery. I don't see her as the jealous type, not with me. She has never been critical up until I lectured her about the HBP. It's the baby thing that is a uber sensitive subject for her. I just want us both to be healthy, that is my biggest concern.

also...maybe she feels scared you are *moving on* without her now that things are moving so well for you and maybe she is jealous...i bet a part of her is happy for you (if she loves you she has to be happy) but maybe she is also scared you are moving away from her...

one thing i have learned is women are complicated and uncolmplicated at the same time....and when you are a woman and you love another woman...holy cow it can be messy :)
