Favorite snack suggestions or food choices- looking to broaden my list

 So variety is usually not my friend when trying to lose weight, but I am tiring of the same old same old. The list below is what I have eaten for a couple months now.   I thought perhaps if we could join together and just list out some favorites it may help us folks who are a little newer out in the process.  

Found a bread option-  Tumaro's Gourmet Tortillas - Lowincarbs Salsa (Mp), 1 tortilla  50 cals, 5 protein, 4 net carbs.  I get them at Meijers in the bakery area.

turky pepperoni- just tried this and wish I would have started a while ago! 80 cals, 

cheese- I go for reduced fat varieties

rotesserie chicken- not a lunch meat fan so this substitutes

greek yogurt mixed with jarrow protein supplement

turkey burgers with spinach and feta

asparagus has protein :)

Kashi Go Lean Original cereal (careful with the carbs and this version is the highest protein- watch the other varieties)

turkey meatloaf

haddock, my new love

other fish, salmon, tilitpia, white fish

pork rinds don't count towards our protein

tomato curry lentils- comes in a pouch that heats in 60 seconds.  I mix in cooked chicken with it.  Differernet varieties of curried lentils are options too.  In the ethnic section of the grocery.

chili- turkey based, light bean.

eggs with feta and spinach

RTD shakes are my typical breakfast.

Morningstar vegetarian sausage

sugar free jello (small box), small container fat free cool whip, 16 ounces cottage cheese- blend and refrigerate, let set up 15 minutes or longer.

protidiet pancake mix (high protein pancakes carbs are ok)

satay (grilled chicken skewer with peanut sauce)

Isopure plus for low calorie protein boosts

Even before WLS, I was the kind of person who could make a pot of something and eat on it four nights in a row until it was gone.  This was not a good thing, in the opinions of my gf or kids.  Today, I eat the same things during the day.  I have one of the 10 or so things I cook for dinner in the evenings.  I am not bored right now because I love everything I eat.

My favorites: breakfast: * eggs with ff refried beans (cant eat eggs by themselves) * bacon * fruit
Lunch/Dinner: I prefer leftovers from home since I know what is in it--chili *turkey meatloaf *grilled chicken with honey mustard *taco turkey meat with cheese and sour cream (shell less taco salad) *ground turkey meat with maybe 2 tbs of whole wheat elbow macaroni with sun dried tomato pesto *new recipe for homeade chicken enchiladas (have about 4g carbs in the whole thing--I cna eat about a quarter) tortillas are La Tortilla Factory whole wheat low carb tortillas--fajita meat with grilled onions, bell peppers, sour cream and guacamole....turkey burger with no bun with sugar free catsup fat free mayo lettuce and tomato--YUM!! OH and cna not forget my absolut favorite--Steak with grilled onions!! These are my favs--I really do not get bored eating these foods!

 Didn't realize there is such a thing as sugar free ketchup- I will have to look for that!  I am thinking it is time to introduce some beef back into the diet.  The DH will like that :)

they sure do--I buy mine at walmart---I learned about it when I had been on atkins in the past--it is a little more expensive--here it is about $2.68 or so.

In addition to some of the items that you mentioned....

- cheese crisps (made with one ounce 2% colby jack, microwaved for 90 seconds)
- turkey pepperoni crisps (made with one ounce pepperoni, microwaved for 105 seconds)
- turkey jerky
- beek jerky
- bocca and morningstart burgers (regular, black bean, tomato basil)
- soynuts (I like to mix them 5 to 1 with other nuts/seeds (my current mix includes sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, chocolate covered soynuts, peanuts, dried cranberries, raisins))
- skim latte
- decaff with milk in it
- pork tenderloin
- chicken tenderloin
- 2 oz chicken breast chunks with .5 ounce light blue cheese crumbles with 1 tbs dried cranberries and 1 tbs sundried tomato
- one ounce of sliced ham, spread with 1 tbs fat free cream cheese, wrapped around baby pickles
- 2 ounces of buffalo burger with half slice of swiss cheese, no bun
- bacon
- one egg, over hard
- one devilled egg

From Schwan's frozen items:
- .5 of a turkey mignon
- chicken bites
- steak bites
- meatballs

Wow..my selection is boring compared to everyone elses's! ...here is what I like/eat...

-Talapia
-Beef Jerky
-2oz chili
-shrimp with ****tail sauce (about a teaspoon)
-cold roasted chicken
-cheese crisps
-turkey burger meatballs sauteed with onion
-sardines with tomato and onion
-crab claw meat
-steamed lobster meat
-skewered shrimp

Costco has Amylu chicken burgers with carmelized onion, red peppers & gouda cheese - YUM. I can usually eat 1/2 to 3/4 of one.

Buffalo chicken dip (Hungrygirl lowfat recipe) with FF cream cheese, FF greek yogurt, part-skim mozz cheese . . . delicious!

 Just saw the chicken burgers today- now I wish I would have bought them!  I also saw they had chicken meatballs.
