so months 0-4 i went from 280 pre op to 202.  month 4-5 i went from 202 to 196.  wtf?

6 pounds in a month?  AND this is the month i started exercising more (jogging/walking consistently)
i go see my surgeon in 1 1/2 weeks so will ask him, but i was pretty bummed that i won't be below 190 when i see him.  i know it slows down as you get closer, but my goal weight is around 135-145 so i still have a way to go!

anyone else have this happen at 5 months out?

Honestly, it could be your body adjusting to the extra exercise you are going.

Are you still measuring your foods? Getting in enough water? If so, just keep pushing. You're doing great!

Yes! During Month 5 the scale barely moved for me.  Then it finally moved a couple weeks ago, and I've been stalled again for almost a week.  Sooo frustrating!!

I haven't lost more than 1 lb since the beginning of January which was 5 months out for me. That is also when I really started exercising. It is frustrating! I saw my dr. for my 6 month checkup last week and she said I am doing well even though I have lost 58 lbs total since my pre-op and still have 42 left to lose.. Just wanted to let you know that you are not alone!

You and I are identical. Also stuck at 190 for the last month.  I want to get to 145 also. I hiked all weekend and will keep exercising to move that scale!!!  We can do it!!!!!

We started at the same time and about the same weight.  I also only lost 7 lbs this month.  But hey, look at where you are and look at where I'm.  Would you mine switching your 196 for my 224.  Keep up the good work!
