HI, I SEE WE WERE SLEEVED ON THE SAME DAY. I WOULD CERTAINLY CONTACT YOUR SURGEON. YOU DON'T WANT TO GET DEHYDRATED, I WENT TO MY DOCTOR FOR MY FOLLOW UP VISIT YESTERDAY AND ENDED UP IN THE HOSPITAL FOR DEHYDRATION AND LOW POTASSIUM. HE DIDN'T ADMIT ME BUT I WAS THERE FOR TWELVE HOURS. MY DOCTOR OKAYED ME TO TAKE REGULAR VITAMINS AS LONG AS I DIDN'T HAVE A PROBLEM SWOLLOWING THEM. I HOPE YOU GET SOME RELIEF!!!
I was dehydrated when I went for my post-op visit and had a lot of the same symptoms you are talking about. He sent me over to the ER and they hooked me up to a bag of fluids - they called it a "banana bag" because it was yellow in color. After that, it has been smooth sailing ever since! My doc had also told me he wished I had contacted him before my appt. So call your surgeon's office!
