Looking for friends-Pre Op

Hi everyone I am Christine 29 from TX.
I have been approved for surgery at this time and looking at a surgery date in early June.

Since I have such a high starting weight I am giving myself more time to loose as much weight at I can preop (just to help my sleeve along)

I was wondering if there was anyone else out there at a similar point in this process as me. I'm just looking to meet some new people, be supportive and understand whats this process is like and to provide encouragement and maybe friendship and help me be accountable during this process...Hope to meet some new people

My name is Stacey and I would love to be your weight loss buddy.  I am in the approval waiting stage.  I hope to move forward later this month, maybe next with the surgery.  I too have a very high starting weight.  I live in California. 

Hi Stacy! I hope you get your approval if you are anthing like me I HATE waiting. I hope you get your surgery date also. So are you doing a diet/workout program for insurance right now? I'm doing strict Atkins Induction now and I have lost 11 pounds in 2 weeks and I hope I can loose like that until surgery.
What part of California? I have been to San Diego before it's beautiful

I live in beautiful Los Angeles.  Insurance does not require any pre-surgery diet.  If I could diet I would not be in this crazy spot.  I just need to do liquid for 7 days and I am ready to go.  So awesome you are being so successful.  The hunger battle is so hard.  I always start the day with good intentions and then mess it up by bedtime.  I soooooo HATE waiting. I call the insurance company everyday.  LOL

This battle is hard I am an emotional eater and though I thought I was strong enough to handle this, yesterday we got bad news about my aunt and staying on track has been a very real struggle these last 2 days. I tell you cause like I said I need to keep myself accountable to make this work this time.
Any news from the insurance company?

 So sorry to hear about your aunt. U must take care of yourself first. I know how hard it is because food is such a comfort in difficult times. Don't forget to forgive yourself. I got approved (which I should given my 48 bmi). My date is April 9

 Jill how was your surgery? We were sleeved on the same day. So far I have had zero pain only had IV Tylenol I the hospital and nothing since then. I was home Sunday morning by 11am est. my experience was perfect in every way. Hope yours was too.
