Today is Thursday meaning Friday is so near!  Yippee!!

I just got back from another business trip.  I picked the two pounds of water weight back up that I had lost after the last trip.  I have another trip next week... hopefully after that I can get out of this vicious cycle.

B: protein shake, coffee w/sugar free creamer
L: inside of a turkey wrap (2 slices deli turkey, a few bacon crumbles, parmesan peppercorn dressing, a bit of lettuce/tomato/onion)
S: greek yogurt
D: chicken and broccoli stir fry

water: 56 oz done, shooting for another 44
vitamins: done
exercise: dvd or treadmill tonight

 Well it's only 2 pm here so far but today I have had:

B: protein bar.
L: 1.5 oz of NY strip steak with mushrooms (leftover from dinner last night)

Vitamins: done.
Excersize:  treadmill .75 miles  .. more later this evening.

Hey friends!

B: Atkins Mocha Latte Low Carb Protein Shake (I really need to go back to Premier shakes with twice the protein)
S: none
L: 3/4 Chicken Soft Taco minus tortilla (shredded chicken, jack cheese, shredded lettuce & salsa)
S: none
D: Protein Shake with 52 grams of protein

Vits: on track
Water: 3 cups (I know, I gotta get going!)
Exercise: 40 minutes brisk walking & 10 minutes of stairs

Breakfast: nectar protein shake
S: none
Lunch: 1.3 ounces tuna, 1 tbsp miracle whip - made with food processor
S: 1 laughing cow cheese wedge
D: 1/4 cup refried beans, 1 tbsp ff shredded cheese, 1 tbsp salsa

Water: doin good
Vits: for the first time since surgery I threw them up this morning
Exercise: just walking- not cleared for anything else yet

There is only one success--to be able to spend your life in your own way.

I'm a work-at-home medical transcriptionist on a third-shift schedule so I'm finding it hard to do my meals like I'd do during the day. It shouldn't be different but it is.

Anyway, I got up at around noon today. I'm 10 days out from surgery.

B: Coffee with a packet of protein. Yay me!
L: About 2 ounces of pureed bean and bacon soup with about a tablespoon of FF refried beans added to it to thicken it.
S: Nothing yet. Will probably be half a small avocado.
D: Will be the same that I had for lunch.

Water: 8 oz. (Finding it VERY difficult to get liquids in right now but working on it.)
Vitamins: Will take 2 late tonight since that's my "day".
Exercise: None so far. I'm only 10 days out and having had no protein for over 10 days, I'm weak and shaky. I'll soon start on the treadmill though. I just have to regain my strength for now.

Wait..are avocados a good/nutritional thing for me to be eating right now or should I avoid them until later on?

Avocados are high fat, but good fat.  So you're adding calories, but that's probably not an issue this early out.  Just from a standpoint of meeting your protein goals, you probably should substitute it for something with some protein in it - Greek yogurt maybe?

Ick on yogurt. I've eaten a few tablespoons of fruity yogurts this past week. I'm working up to TRYING to like it. The crazy thing is that I've never been a picky eater. I have had a list for YEARS of what I do NOT like to eat and lots of things that people are suggesting on here are things that I hate to eat.

Foods I hate: Water chestnuts. Radishes. Wasabi. Horseradish. Licorice. Yogurt. Protein Shakes. Applesauce. Raw celery. Garlic. Root Beer. Miracle Whip. Wild rice.
