Starting to feel better

I was sleeved Thurs and since I woke up in recovery, I've been in agony.  I have had the worst gas pains that no amount of walking, use of heating pad, ******eds has helped.  Until today, I barely got in any fluids because every sip was so painful.  Today I'm finally starting to feel better.  Still having gas pains but they are not as severe and are fleeting.  Totally was not expecting to feel this way!  Yes, there were times I regretted doing this but I know once I feel back to myself I will be happy I did it.   It seems every post I read, recovery was easy.  Has anyone else suffered this way?

Sorry you're struggling.  I, too, had a brutal first four days with nausea, pain, and dry heaves.  Day four I started feeling better, and day five was when I really turned the corner.  Hang in there... it will get better!  I kept saying to my husband, "why did I do this to myself?" but now, two and a half weeks later, I'm thrilled with my sleeve.  You will be too - just hang in there and try to get your fluids in so you don't get dehydrated.

Sorry you are haivng such a hard time. The first 24 hours were the worst for me as I was throwing up if I moved even slightly. After that everything was great. Not really pain just sore.
Everyday gets better.

Sorry to read you are in angony.  I did not find recovery easy at all.  In fact it was a b*tch.  I hurt terribly.  It took me 3 weeks to feel better.  Do whatever it takes to feel better, heat, rest, meds.. Get through the next few weeks and it will get better.  Best wishes!
