Crystal Light

I have a hard time with plain water some times (most days). Hubby says he thinks the powders actually soften it or something because I gulp it down. I use the individual packages of Arizona Sugar/Calorie Free green tea. I use the half & half a couple of times per day too. I don't count any of those, it's like 10 calories per package. Eh.

I also drink the walmart brand crystal lights.. They are yummie and work fine for me. But my doc has me drinkinhg 2 thru 3 bottles of gatorade a day.. and let me tell u.. I feel so much better when I drink the gatorade verses the crystal light..  Especially on hard work out days....thats where all my calories and carbs come from..

Have you tried the G2 Gatorade.  It has less calories and sugar than regular.  A 20oz bottle has 45 calories.

I'm only 5 days post op but for some reason, I struggle with plain water. I've been using Crystal Light which I was told was fine. I'm starting to get sick of it already so maybe I'll send my hubby out for some G2!

I haven't had surgery but I am on a diet (again) and I just bought 2 of the Walmart version of Mio Energy.  They're really good and help me with not drinking soda.  Would those be allowed after surgery too since they have caffeine in them?

I drink Crystal Lite most of the time.  My sleeve doesn't like plain water, for some reason.  Or I guess I should say my gastritis doesn't like it.  Something to do with the Ph (acidity level).   But Crystal Lite goes down just fine and I don't react to it.  I don't worry about the calories in it.
