Yes!!! Pre-Op tests done!!!
My pre-op testing is done!!! I got my cardiac clearance and everything is a ok...now I just have to wait for a date!!! All hoops cleared!!! I'm concerned that they put me on a bata blocker...I have something called PVCs I don't know if that means I'm going to end up with heart disease or what...that's scary. The Cardiologist said he wouldn't normally put me on medication but they would freak out if they saw those PVCs in surgery...idk...I don't understand really...is it serious or not? but either way surgery here I come!!!

Congratulations on getting through allllll the testing!!Pvc's are premature ventricular contractions, almost everyone has them from time to time. Generally not serious at all!! You may have noticed it before and just not recognized it. Feels like your heart skips a beat. Caffeine can cause it in many people. Sometimes before a big surgery, they will put you on a beta blocker to prevent the pvc's. Has nothing to do with developing cad, coronary artery disease
