Today is the first day since surgery on the 19th that I"ve been able to finish an entire protein shake AND made my water quota.  Suddenly today drinking isn't so difficult and I've been able to drink water like normal.

Also, I just took a nap in my own bed, rather than the recliner, with no pain.  I am SO happy!  Now for the drain removal on Thursday and continuing my journey.

I hope all my other sleevers from last week are doing well.

Sometimes in the beginning the progress can seem soooooo slow.  Keep at it.  I promise it gets better and better!

WOW! You guys are doing great. I just tried my first protein shake a few minutes ago and I am still not sure how I feel about it. I got a couple of cramps, waiting to see if that is going to settle. As for water, I can't wait to be able to drink it like normal again.

Yay !!!!!!!!!!  You give me hope!

I was sleeved on the 19th, and so far I have not met my protein or liquid goals.

I am just uncomfortable with it, and I have pain with it.

I can't wait to get past this!

One thing I realized.... I did not take the prilosec for two days, and I think that was why I was having issues.  I also was not using lactose-free milk, might have been the cause.

I am happy for you!
