So I'm an idiot
Because the week after surgery isn't sucky enough i decided to burn the heck out of my left hand. It now is all bandaged up and looks like a qtip. I had made myself broth in a coffee cup inside the microwave. Reached in and grabbed the handle and it was so hot i now have second degree burns all over my palm and 3 fingers.
The one funny part is when they brought me my liquid meds and it was two tablespoons. I actually laughed and said you realize that is going to take forever for me to drink. The nurse just looked at me strange. It took me 15 min. and some gagging.

Awww... sorry to hear that... Don't worry Last week I grabbed the teapot handle with a potholder and was not paying attention and touched my ring finger against the bottom part of the bare metal.... I did a little ouchy dance and have a nice blister healing now.... We all do things without thinking... Hope you feel better soon... I like that you can see the humor in the situation. Take care...
