So I only noticed this today or I would have asked my surgeon.  But right above an incision is a sorta straight line about 5 in. long I have a really hard spot maybe and inch in diameter.  It doesn't hurt but it feels odd to touch.  Sound familiar?  Worth calling surgeon?

Sounds like where your muscles were sewn back together when they closed you.  Scar tissue developes there around the stiches.

It is probably what they call a "healing ridge" since you are over a week out.  I wouldn't worry too much about it unless it gets painful.  I had an incision get infected and it was softball sized by my 3rd day post op.  Just keep an eye on it and call the doc if you start running a fever.
