I know I have seen this posted before - but how do you make a choclate protein steamer? I need to change my mornings up a bit.

Dissolve the protein powder of your choice in cool/room temp water.  Get it to the consistency of cream.

I like true steamed milk, but you could probably just boil/heat your milk as well.  I have a pretty inexpensive (around $40) Mr. Coffee expresso maker with an attached wand to steam milk.  I use the steam wand more than the expresso maker!  Anyway, take the milk of your choice and steam it.  Pour the steamed milk into the dissolved protein and stir.  The protein powder is already sweetened and you can add flavored syrups or whatever to it for your taste.  Using nonfat milk, the steamer comes to right around 200 calories for close to 30g of protein.

 Thank you! I always thought when seeing your posts that it was a coffee drink and I really prefer my coffee unsweetened. BUT I have a milk frother for my nf lattes, so I will give this a shot. Sounds really good.

S: other half of string cheese
D: Taco bell pinto's and cheese

Water: doing great
Vit: I am sooooo bad at taking these! I need more bottles to keep at work
Exercise: not ready yet still to early and sore!

B: two hard boiled eggs with laughing cow lite cheese wedges.

Skipped snack, not hungry today

L:  Thick pork chop stuffed with caramelized onions on a bed of cauliflower " mashed potatoes"

will probably skip snack

D: Chicken breast stuffed with spinach, goat cheese, and pimentos. Glass of red wine.


Late night snack:  salad made with cherry tomatoes, thinly sliced red onions, cucumbers, feta cheese, and three olives.  I will dress this in rice vinegar and a teaspoon of olive oil.

B1 (pre-workout): one slice whole grain toast, .5 TB peanut butter, 1 tsp low sugar jam
B2 (post workout): 3 ounces plain Yoplait Greek yogurt, 1/3 cup grapes
B3 (mid morning): small nonfat latte
L: 2 ounces lean turkey meatballs
Snack: ?  maybe one ounce roasted edamame & 1 babybel cheese?
Dinner: Fast food on the road... maybe 2 ounces plain grilled chicken at McDonalds with a slice of tomato?
Snack: if hungry, one ounce turkey jerkey

water: 40 oz so far
vites: done
excercise: 35 minutes elliptical, 10 minutes walking.  30 minute walk tonight?

CW: 130ish HW: 264 SW:254 Hgt: 5'2

Mmm Elina your lunch and dinner sound good!

B: Chobani 0% Pomegranate 1/3 of the container

L: I ordered a small chili from Tim Horton's, I ate 1/4 of it. I love their chili! So I have enough for 3 more meals too! Oh and also I ordered an Iced Coffee with milk, equal, and sugar free french vanilla syrup. Mmm

D: Poached egg. This will be my first egg, so I am not sure how much of it I will eat. Probably only half.

I don't do snacks. I'm pretty full from the things I eat. I just bought some Isopure and something protein drink. I'm not getting my protein in as all of the shakes I've had instantly make me queasy. But I keep trying. :]
