Got My Surgery Date!

So excited and so scared at the same time (which I see is normal).  The date is 4/26...OMG, 2 weeks!!

 Congrats! Mine is 4/24.

We really need to keep in touch so we can whine together, LOL! We're going to do great! I can't wait to start my new life!

question...how long did it take to hear your approval from the insurance co and dr office. all my documents will be submitted this week. I'm on pens and needles waiting :)

I have not heard from my insurance company yet. I needed to submit with a surgery date. I know I have met all the requirements of my insurance because I reviewed my benefits months ago to make certain. I have already completed all of my surgeon's requirements except pre-op testing but that will be done in the next week or so. I will hear from my insurance within the next 24 hours, all the paperwork was faxed yesterday. If you followed all of your insurance companies requirements, you should be fine, don't worry.

Hi Bedazzle.   This is my first post as a new member.  I am scheduled for surgery too -  nervous and excited with you.  Mine is 4-30-12 for the sleeve.
