Was this an OK choice
So I was out with the kids yesterday and we got stuck needing lunch. Taco Bell was the only place I could think to eat. So I ordered a bean burrito with no onion but kept the cheese opened it up and ate the beans out without the tortilla. I finished about half. I figured I ate about 1/4 cup of refried beans and a tbsp of cheese. Was it a horrible choice?

I hear a lot of people mention the beans from there. You could always order the bean cup too. It has cheese on top. They also sell sides of chicken. I don't know if you're on solids yet. I didn't like the chicken from there though.
Edit: You will get mixed reviews but I just checked your surgery date and by that date I was eating beans and cheese and tuna. If it fits in your calorie range and meal plan and doesn't hurt you, I say eat it. Good choice on the onion though. Those weren't ok for me until over a month out.

I can't do chicken yet. But I didn't realize they had a bean cup. That definitely would have been easier since I could have taken the leftovers home with me.

Oh yeahhh the sour cream is a good addition too! More protein from the milk.
Hijack. I just want to say that I love how you always talk about eating everything in moderation. I've been experiencing less stall since I've adopted more of a 'lax attitude about this process. Maybe it's the reduced stress or the fact that my body actually needed some damn food... but whatever it is, your posts cross my mind often. I used to be so scared to eat that I was only eating 1-2 times a day and now I actually eat 3-4 times a day and I am not so strict on my intake and it works. So, thank you.

I was hoping for a wendy's for chili, but I was on base with a sobbing little girl. I looked it up though and it was 145 calories, 12 carbs, 7 fat and 9 protein. So not the best but ok. Like you said best not to make a habit but I feel better knowing it wasn't the worst choice.
