Sometimes I get nostalgic for this board but it's hard to get stay in the mix when you are out living life in the world.  It seems like there are so many more people on the board now than just a year ago.  Hopefully I'll keep popping in from time to time. Wow Chris, what a journey you have had. Thanks for sharing. It was nice to meet you in Santa Monica a few weeks back. As for your 5k, keep training for it, you can do it. I just ran my first 5k on Easter weekend and came in 4th place in my age group finishing in 26.26 I felt great when I finished the race. I never ran a race like that in my life. I think I'm hooked. When are you going to run your 5k? Keep us all posted and good luck.
FYI, when you are about half way through the race, you will want to stop running are start walking. Simply push through it and keep running. I can't even explain the feeling when you cross the finish line and you know you ran the entire race.

It was nice meeting you too!  As for the race, that's my plan!  I haven't signed up for one yet because I didn't want to have it come up before I was fully ready. I will post on that when it happens for sure!

Hey Chris- amazing post awesomely cute kids and a gorgeous GF, but just as important a healthy happy you!  You keep on enjoying that new life, you sure have done the work.  Have a great time in Las Vegas!  Who needs the winning lottery ticket?  You found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!
