4 weeks ago today I had my VSG here's the stats!

Surgery Weight: 234.4
Today: 211.8

Surgery Waist: 49.75"
Today: 46.5"

Surgery Hip: 50.5"
Today: 49"

I think I have lost much more off my hips but my pani hangs down so much now that it is in my hip measurement.  I can only hope that this tightens up a bit or by the time I'm at goal it will be to my knees!

BTW that's a 20% excess weight loss in one month!

I know there were a ton of us who were sleeved the same week.  So post away.

I had my surgery a week after you and that weight loss seems about right. Best diet I have ever been on. What kind of foods are you eating?

Right now a lot of beans and cheese.  I also eat ground sirloing chili run through the blender.  I put greek yogurt in everything I can think of including the beans and chili. SF jams in my greek yogurt. Eggs and more eggs.  Sometimes cottage cheese but I really don't like it.

Today I'm going to try a turkey meatball with some tomato sauce on it.  Homeade tomato sauce so no added sugar.

I also have my one protein shake a day.  I'm still not doing well on protein.  If I get 50g a day I'm doing good.  I'm also only averaging 400 calories a day.  Right now I'm sick so that is decreased a lot more.  I'm only focusing on my fluids.  Which I've been able to consistently keep at 60oz.

29 lbs since surgery is GREAT!  Keep up the good work.  When does your surgeon let you go on "regular" food.  Technically mine does it at 4 weeks but I don't meet with him until Friday so I'm going to wait until then.  I don't mind as the mushy food stage hasn't been that rough I don't think.

I actually had steak last night!  About 2oz or so with mushrooms and onions.  Cut it up real thin and chewed the hell out of it.   I started eating fish 2 weeks ago and that has worked out great.  I found a great pancake recipe on EggFace...ricotta cheese, lemon pudding mix, pancake mix, egg, torani syrup and bluberries...Awesome! I still try to do 2 shakes a day. I double the scoops so 2x the protein.  Nectars are great because you ge****er and protein in at same time.
