I was only there for a couple of hours. The only thing I needed was someone to pick me up. I was nervous because it was my first time ever having ansthesia but it rocked my socks. I swear I woke up and felt like I had slept better in those 10 minutes than I had in monthes. I felt fine afterwards. I drove later in the afternoon and felt fine the rest of the day.
Good Luck!!

I didn't have to bring anything- it was an outpatient procedure. I was given anesthesia-unlike the anesthesia that is used in most surgeries it I was assured that it wouldn't make me nauseous(i'm very prone topost op anesthesia nausea) and I had no nausea. Also, the anesthesia used wears off quickly after the procedure. I had to wait a few hours before I could eat , but felt fine immediately after. I hope this helps and that you also have a problem free experience.

I'm sure it will be fine. I have mine on Friday. Unfortunately, it's not my last hoop, though. (I had a sleep study done last summer that said I don't have apnea, but the pulmonologist wants another one just to be sure.)
Either way, good luck!

Thank you to everyone that posted! I was nervous, but after reading your responses this morning calmed my nerves.
The procedure made me nervous at first but I was knocked out before I could say anything.
I woke up the Dr. said I am good to go and approved me for the surgery. My Surgery date is May 16!!!
