How will I feel a week out from surgery?

 I know that everyone's experience is different, but from my experience I had only post-op anesthesia nausea which lasted about 1 1/2 days but virtually no pain. I was driving within 4 days because I felt no pain and was on no pain medicines, even in the hospital. In my opinion you should be fine 10 days, almost 2 weeks, out and you'll definitely appreciate your vacation, because I found that I got tired in the afternoon for the first 3 weeks or so and resting around the lake sounds ideal. The walking and hiking is great exercise and not too strenuous, which is what my surgeon recommended. I definitely believe you'll be able to handle it, and I wish you a speedy, and pain and problem free recovery.
