9 month update with pictures
Sorry in advance for the picture whoring
So, its been slightly over 9 months since I've had surgery. I've lost about 126 pounds - I could be paying much closer attention to what I am eating but life happens (bash away, if you must). I live my life like a normal 21 year old would, I go to the bar, I go out to dinner, and I work out 5x a week. The progress that I have made in these 9 months has changed the way that I view myself, and the things that I am capable of. After a 4 year break, I started horseback riding again (Did it for 11 years before I stopped), I stopped partially beacuse I was uncomfortable with my weight as well as lack of time, but I couldn't be happier to be back in the saddle and I know that I couldn't have done it without this surgery
. As I have said in my previous posts, I encourage anyone who is thinking about this surgery to do their research and make the decision that is right for them.
My next goal is to lose between 20 & 30 pounds before July 15th (I'm going to Aruba for 3 weeks, woohoo!)
Good luck to everyone and happy losing!

The girl in this picture had the LapBand three years ago and has been very successful - even more of a reason for people to do their research in the right surgery for them.

This picture kind of sums up how I feel looking back at pictures of myself - thinking that I was happy at that weight.

Great results, keep up the good work. No bashing from this end. One of the reasons I had this surgery was to be able to live a normal life. Just keep your self in check and continue with the process. I wish I had done this sooner and envy you the life you still have ahead of you. I have my next mini goal similar to you to lose lbs by July 1, (Canada Day). Have fun in Aruba, never been there but I love to travel so a couple of photos of your holiday would be great inspiration.
