So I had an appointment with with the surgeon last week and found out that I have lost 33 pounds so far yay!!

I was hoping to have surgery sometime this summer June or July to give myself plenty of time to loose as much weight as I can, but at my appointment I found out that my insurance approval will expire at the end of may so I have a surgery date now of May 21st. I feel so un-prepared now like I had soo much that I still needed to do. I have been working so hard to have surgery for over 2 years now and it's hard to believe this could actually be happening now, I am anxious and excited and scared but mostly excited. Still trying to wrap my head around everything and continue to loose before surgery.

Any tips of supplies or things I need to be doing at this point would be greatly appreciated!

The only things I found I needed to have at the hospital were my infant gas drops (didn't like the strips), laptop, and personal toiletries (deodarant, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, hairbrush, and chapstick). I didn't pack extra clothes. I went to the hospital that morning in pajamas and slippers and wore hospital gowns while there (Much easier to deal with the iv's). Wore those same clothes home. The way I seen it was go in comfortable come out comfortable. TAKE A PILLOW even if you leave it in car till you come home because you will want it for your tummy for those bumps in the road. THEY SUCK! Everything I took I put in a small backpack that I could have someone carry for me and even attach to my bed so my stuff didn't get "lost".

Good Luck!
