Exercise check in
lol I hear ya, with my walking to work and back to my car I add an extra 1-1.5 hrs onto my daily schedule with the nicer weather happening now I love it and don't want to stop. I want to learn to run because hopefully I can do that walk into run in about 20 mins instead of 35 mins each way and get my heart pumping more.
I just made lunch for two of them that are home today and feel like I am running a marathon between the two. One is stuck in bed so have to run food back and forth and get them up to use the washroom etc.. track medication while the other one caught a little infection at school where they said to stay home for 24 hrs grrr I don't understand why stay at home moms don't get paid certainly is harder then going to work.

1 hour with a trainer after work. Blah...I know this will get easier and I will start to enjoy it more, but right now it feels like torture!
I start with a trainer at 6 weeks out. Luckily Tricare pays for it!

It gets easier and more fun the more you do it :) There's hope!
At least for me it's not the working out that sucks, it's the getting my bum motivated to actually make it to the gym. Once I physically get there I might as well workout!

That is my problem too. I'm not a morning person, so that's out and I'm exhausted after working my usually 12 hour day (and 3 hour commute)...as long as I go striaght from work to the gym I'm good. If I go home, forget it. I'm in PJs about 5 min after I walk through the door.
This is also good for me because I need a bit more balance in my life. Meeting my trainer makes me leave work at a reasonable hour a couple times a week.

What does your weight training entail. I've been doing kettleballs (before surgery obviously can't do it now). But I REALLY need some upper arm and chest work. I've always struggled, even when in the Army. I meet with my personal trainer in 2 weeks and I'm hoping he can help because it seems like no matter how hard I push myself I just don't see upper body improvement. I push myself pretty hard so I dont' think it's an exersion (sp?) problem.

I did a mile on the treadmill. I did about a 1/4 of that mile at 3.5mph and the other 3/4 at 4.2mph and finished up in 16mins. Yes thats really slow but i'm working on it and i'm super short so that is almost running for me....LOL! I walked at 3.5 for another 1/2 mile to cool down. Then did 30 mins of P90X plyometrics which totally kicks my butt!
I must say though that I am truly loving the way I feel after workouts! This could almost be addictive! Oh and I bought the 1.99 couch 2 5k program on my iphone to get me started training. I haven't registered for anything but I would love to be able to run :)
