Lack of padding makes things hurt!

With time, the weight redistributes and you won't be as bony. Weight training helps to decrease the bonyness. I had similar issues, but I have a layer of muscle over the bony areas, so it isn't as painful as it used to be.

Perfect post! You guys are killing me. I was just sitting here in my seventh hour on a west bound flight thinking " help me, my spine cannot feel my ass anymore!" Ready to get on Southwest website and complain about hard seats then I see this post....could it be me? Donna P.S. I actually woke up with bruises on the inside of my knees cuz they painfully knocked together while attempting to sleep. word Donna
