Late night snacking and just all around splurges are the worst for me. I can undue a week’s worth of workouts in a meal on the weekend!
But thank you for your encouraging words, because I wouldn’t want that to happen to me either where my surgery is postponed because I cheated on the pre op diet.

Two bad habits I still have: drinking with a straw (waited until 3 months post op) and drinking regular coffee (waited until 2 months post op)
I've left behind way more bad habits than I kept, though... to name a few:
I use my treadmill and exercise videos now instead of letting them collect dust
I don't drink Diet Coke (or anything carbonated) even though I used to be addicted (seriously)
I eat protein first
90% of my meals and snacks consist of lots of protein, a little veggies, and hardly any carbs
I don't drink with meals
I exercise 5-6 days a week (where I used to exercise 1-2 days a week)
I don't drink my calories other than protein shakes
Those things are easy. The habit that I've mostly broken, but am still working on is grazing. I catch myself eating more often than I'd like sometimes.

Congrats on quitting smoking! I know that’s one of the hardest things to do for some. How did you quit smoking, cold turkey, or replacements? I quit smoking a while ago as well so I can definitely understand the struggle! There are just other habits that have gotta stop, lol Good Luck with cutting out the diet coke and your journey!
