Nervous about insurance approval

I had my last appt today from everything that was required for me to do for surgery.  Hopefully they should be submitting to my insurance this week.  I have been apprehensive about my insurance because my BMI is 38 and I don't have diabetes or HTN.  My surgeon was going to say I qualified for surgery d/t my PCOS and insulin resistance.  Well today I found out that I have moderate sleep apnea, so with the diagnosis I should get approved for sure right??? 

 Did you call your insurance company to see what their requirements are?  They should be able to tell you the requirements and if your health problems qualify as comorbidities.

 I'm in a similar situation. My BMI is 38 as well and I do have HTN but no sleep apnea. Which insurance do you have? I have been so nervous but my PCP wrote a letter of recommendation and I feel a little better. I will be submitting everything for approval as soon as I get the results from my psych eval. Good luck! I have Preferred One......it lists OSA, HTN or DM as comorbidities that would qualify for surgery.  Hope to hear soon!
